Overview of Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution was a time when new inventions came to be. Also at this time people started working in factories, but the good thing was that a new invention came where the factory didn't have to be near water. The Industrial Revolution began in England.
It made life better because it helped to make mass productions because of the machines which meant more things got built and faster.
Invetions and working conditions
One invention of the industrial revolution was the cotton gin which was created by Eli Whitney. The working conditions in the factory were terrible. People often got black lung disease and died. Also they had child labor when they made children work really hard for long hours with hardly any sleep. If the kids weren't working hard enough the overseer would hit them with a metal stick.
