Principal Petrick's Message
I'm bruised and battered from the balloon toss event but it was awesome to see so many of our students in person. Congrats to Mrs. Echeverria's classroom who had the best overall attendance rate in our school! Each student in her class receives a custom FVES mask. Please stop by school to pick up a mask, if you have a student in Mrs. Echeverria's class.
Currently COVID infection rates in Oregon are on the rise and are not trending towards the level that would allow us to bring groups of students back into the school. Regardless, we wlll be preparing FVES over the next couple of weeks to be ready to safely bring students back to school, when we meet the state's guidelines. This includes reducing the amount of desks in a classroom to spread out students, modifying bathrooms, signage for traffic flow and staff trainings. It is our hope that we can get our students back in person sooner than later. We will be ready, once we get the green light from the state.
Have a great weekend!
