ROE News
Week of April 6th
More Learning ahead!
As we begin our first full week in April, I want to encourage all of our ROE families --- you are truly amazing! The following newsletter contains a lot of information regarding our continued journey in online learning. Please click the link below to view the updated lessons for April 3-9. And remember -- No school on Friday, April 10.
NEW -- This week we want to begin offering video conferencing with our ROE families. You will see information below on tips and tricks, as well as a campus schedule. A specific link/meeting code will be sent to you through your regular grade level communication source. The code will change for each meeting. This will be an opportunity for your child to connect, laugh and have conversations with teachers and peers. Instruction will happen, but this week our focus is seeing their faces.
We appreciate your patience with us as we try to find ways to continue supporting ROE families during this time. If you have any needs during this time, please contact your child's teacher. We are in this together - even though we are apart.

ROE Student Expectations for April 6
Other things to note:
- Parent logs were sent via email on Thursday, April 2nd. A link for the log, along with information about how to complete it and when to turn it in, is also provided below. You do not need to fill out the attendance sheets in Google Classroom anymore. The parent log takes the place of the attendance sheets.
- Our main platform will be Google Classroom. Click on the weekly learning opportunities link below regarding how to access.
- Our teachers are expected to make regular contact with every homeroom student/family. This may be via email, Class Dojo, phone, or Google Classroom.
- All lessons are set up for the week, not by the day! We have provided a variety of optional instructional activities and resources. Click on the weekly learning opportunities link below for the weekly plan.
- If you have questions, email your child's teacher and include how to reach you.
Let's Meet up!
As we begin this new avenue to communicate with our students in the virtual classroom, please remember:
- Dress appropriately - Tshirt and shorts/pants
- Listen carefully
- Minimize distractions
