Math
In Math, we will start our review for the math STAAR test. We can't wait to make it fun and enjoyable! We are doing the Amazing Race Review starting next week! If you are able to volunteer check your email for places. We need you!
Science & Social Studies
In Science, we are learning about animal and plant adaptations and how they survive in their environments.
In Social Studies, we are reviewing and assessing the unit on "Settling the Frontier". Students have learned about the development of the cattle industry in Texas and the expansion of railroads. Students have also learned about how the settlement of the Texas frontier impacted the lives of American Indians in Texas.
Reading & Writing
In Reading, we are continuing to work with understanding connections across informational text and across all genres. Students should be able to compare and contrast stated and implied ideas presented in two similar passages. Students are also working on expository text features and explaining how it helps them as a reader.

Payment for chaperones will be taken at the museum. Please make arrangements for any younger children/siblings as we are not able to accommodate for them.

Cost: The cost for students is $5 for the museum and the movie. Please send cash only. It is extremely difficult for us to make change, so we ask that you send in the correct amount.
*If you would like to send in any additional money to sponsor another student, it would be greatly appreciated.
What to wear: Tennis shoes and weather appropriate clothes. It would be nice if students are able to wear a Liberty Hill, or purple shirt if possible.
