Our Class of 2020!
Principal's Notes
This past Friday night we were able to finally join together to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating 8th Grade Class of 2020. Certainly a memorable night, a night to reflect on their many years at SBS and a night to experience a sense of normalcy. Although the celebration was different from years past, it is with great pride that we wish nothing but the best for our graduates and their future success.
Tomorrow morning the faculty and staff will be returning to the school building to prepare for the new school year. Please raise them up in prayer as they return to their classrooms and work together over the next two weeks to ensure a safe and successful start to the school year.
I will be hosting several Principal Chats over the next two weeks. The schedule is noted below. I will be sending out grade specific zoom invites prior to each scheduled Principal Chat.
Thank you for your continued support.
All my best,
Matthew Collins
Principal

Student Emotional Support
Mrs. McDonald - School Guidance Counselor
We understand that returning to school under the new guidelines and protocols may be challenging for some students. Our Guidance Counselor, Mrs. McDonald, is available for any students who need some emotional support. She can be reached via email at jmcdonald@stbridgetschool.us, or by calling the school during regular hours.
Franciscan Children's Hospital Partnership
The Franciscan Children's Hospital, who has a strong partnership with the Archdiocese of Boston, has reached out with resources to support our students and families. Below is a brochure for you to read and save in case you need it. This brochure includes:
- A tip sheet to help your child or teen cope with current events
- A graphic describing the expanded mental health services now available to serve all family members with Franciscan Children’s new TeleMental Health Services. Whether conducted by phone, video chat or within one of our parental support networks, our expert clinicians are scheduling appointments for individual counseling, group therapy or medication management. Most insurances are accepted.
