Principal Message
November
Note from Mrs. Craft
Dear Parents,
Happy Thursday! You might notice a new look for our Principal Message. We are in the process of transitioning programs. We are also trying to look for ways to make our message shorter, but we want to ensure that you have all the information that you need, so we are trying to find a happy medium. Thank you in advance for having patience with us as we make this transition.
We want to thank our PTO for an awesome Family Fun Night. The weather was beautiful, the popcorn was yummy, and the inflatables, DJ, and games were AWESOME! We appreciate everyone who was able to come out and enjoy this event provided by our PTO. We are so proud of our Hart students and families for their generosity of food and money last week for our service projects. We raised $ 1,815.06 for ACO. Congratulations to our first grade for raising the most money. They will have a popsicle party in the near future.
As a reminder, we will not have school on Monday, November 7th and Tuesday, November 8th. This will be an opportunity for teachers and staff to learn and grow together. We hope you enjoy your long weekend. We will kick off this long weekend tomorrow with Reading with the Leopards. This is definitely a highlight for our students and staff.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
All My Best,
Wendy Craft

My mission is to be a servant leader who works with students, parents, and staff to build a community that fosters relationships and learning where everyone THRIVES. Each day, I strive to make the choice to be great versus comfortable, because you can't be both!
Congratulations to our Heart of a Teacher & Heart of Support for October
Please join me in congratulating Ms. Arabie, our Music teacher, for being the recipient of the Heart of a Teacher for the month of October. Ms. Arabie shares her love of music with our students daily by building strong relationships, building interactive lessons, and encouraging students to take a risk and try something new. She also wrote our school song this year, and she coordinated our Talent Show.
Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Rose, our Instructional Aide, for Heart of Support for the month of October. Mrs. Rose is a team player, she builds fantastic relationships with our students and staff, and she also serves on our PTO. We appreciate the many hats that she wears throughout the day.
Congratulations to Mrs. Moody and Mrs. Mills!
Congratulations to Mrs. Mills, 4th Grade Teacher and Mrs. Moody, 1st Grade Teacher. Both were surprised with a visit from varsity football players and given the award of "Lovejoy Football Teacher of the Week"! They will be provided with the VIP treatment at the game tonight. #Rollpards

It’s that time of year again to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff
with our Lovejoy Letter Writing Campaign! Many of you are familiar with
this beloved tradition, but for those of you who are not, it is the time of
year when current and past students and parents write appreciation
letters for each of our teachers and staff members across the district.
The letters do not have to be elaborate or lengthy. The goal is just for
people to write a note of thanks to show gratitude to their teachers, the
staff and administration in our district. It is an opportunity for us to
take the time to let each person who makes a difference for us
throughout the school day know how much we value them.
Please clearly label the envelope with the staff/teacher’s name and LLC
(Lovejoy Letter Campaign) and return the letter to the box located in the
designated area at your school no later than Friday November 11th.
The letter writing campaign has become such a meaningful tradition in our
district. We really appreciate your time and effort to help us tell our
teachers and staff thank you for all that they do!
Lovejoy ISD Children's Choir
Recently, we announced the 8th season of the Lovejoy ISD Children’s Choir. "LCC" is designed to serve the needs of our district’s 4th, 5th and 6th grade students who are committed to a musically exceptional experience. All 4th grade Hart students are encouraged to audition for our district honor choir! You do not have to be a current member of our campus choir to audition for LCC.
To register for LCC, please click HERE! We are preparing for auditions in class and during choir. Please read all of the details on this incredible experience HERE. Auditions will take place December 8th after school at Hart.
We look forward to continuing this Lovejoy tradition in a new and unique way! If you have any questions, please reach out to katrina_arabie@lovejoyisd.net, thank you!
