Principal's Update: Join Us for Open House this Wednesday
We are looking forward to hosting our annual Open House this Wednesday, May 18th, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. and are excited to welcome parents/guardians to see their children's work and celebrate their growth and creativity.
With COVID cases on the uptick, we ask parents and students to please stay home if they have any COVID symptoms. In addition, it is highly recommended to wear a mask indoors for the event. Lastly, we ask that Oster's parents/guardians (and their children) only visit their child(ren)’s classroom(s). I appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our teachers and students healthy, so they can be at school to participate for the end of the year festivities.
Our lost and found bin is once again overflowing. If your child can not find an item of clothing, lunch box, or water bottle, it might be at school in our lost and found bin in front of the cafeteria. Sometimes, an item takes a few days to find its way there, so please remind your child to check it more than once. Also, have your child check in the office for any personal items such as glasses, keys, or jewelry. Thank you to our yard duty parent supervisors and Mr. Luis for keeping our lost and found rack organized this past year.
Any clothing or items left in the lost and found after June 4th will be donated to charity.
Lastly, with less than three weeks of school left, students need to concentrate and do the best they can until the last day of school. Parents, we need your help to let them know it's important to complete all their assignments, participate in the classroom activities, and continue to follow all school rules. Then, with summer around the corner, there will be plenty of time for them to play and have fun during their vacation.
As always, please feel free to call the office with any end of the year questions or concerns.
