A+ Scholarship
What is it?
The A+ Schools Program was created in 1993 by state law as an incentive for improving Missouri’s high schools. The primary goal of the A+ Schools Program is to ensure that all students who graduate from Missouri high schools are well prepared to pursue advanced education and/or employment. If eligible, this scholarship sets students on the path of a post-secondary education with little to no cost to students and families.
What does the A+ Scholarship cover?
The A+ Scholarship will pay tuition and fees to any Missouri public community college or career/technical school for up to 2 years. There are also incentive A+ scholarships at some 4 year schools in Missouri.
The current maximum reimbursement rate is $196.00 per credit hour and students must enroll in at least 12 credit hours per semester to remain eligible.
How Can I Apply?
As of 2022, any student who enrolls at Battle High School will be automatically signed up for the A+ program.
Continued program eligibility requirements are the responsibility of the student and are monitored and assessed by the A+ Coordinator each year.
