Weekly Newsletter
April 26th-30th
What Will We Be Learning This Week??
Reading: We will continue to work with nonfiction book clubs to review context clues and how they help us understand the text.
Writing: We will continue using the writing process to publish our choice of writing.
Phonics/Grammar: We will review and practice with different parts of speech. We will practice with superlative adjectives.
Math: We will explain that the more fractional parts used to make a whole, the smaller the parts; and the fewer parts used to make a whole, the bigger they are. We will use models to count fractional parts beyond a whole.
Social Studies: We will create a product to sell through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Science: We will identify the parts of a variety of animals and identify and describe the purposes they serve.
