Alumni Career Counseling & Coaching Sessions
Alumni have access to FREE career counseling, and appointments are available Monday-Friday between 8am-4pm, both in-person at the Atlanta Alumni Center (3475 Lenox Rd. NE) or via phone.
Topics can include: Resume/Cover Letter Critique, Mock Interview, Career Exploration, Job Search Strategies, Interest/Personality Assessments, Networking, LinkedIn and Social Media Engagement, and additional career-related topics.

NYC Department of Education Teaching Opportunities
We are excited to invite University of Georgia prospective teachers to attend an upcoming online event to learn about teaching in NYC and the application process. Below is an overview of the New York City Department of Education events and you can register at teachnyc.net/events:

My suggestion is to start the application now so that you can ask tailored questions to help you complete your application. As you complete your application you will need to be prepared with an electric copy of:
- Your resume (draft is fine) that is accessible as a digital file - either on a flash drive or e-mail/google doc (or you can use the NYC DOE Resume Template)
- Your soft copy of the College Teaching Certification Letter (if it's hardcopy you can scan and save it to a flash drive/Google Drive)
- Three Professional References
