2nd Quarter Student Teacher Assignments
What's In the Mailing: You'll find your 2nd quarter classroom teacher, transportation information (if applicable), and a sample Student Self-Certification form (for Hybrid students).
Kindergarten Welcome Back To School Tour
The student along with ONE adult, will get to come tour the school, meet some teachers, and get some important information for returning to in-person learning. If interested, follow the link provided by your student's teacher to sign up for a 15 minute time slot with your teacher.
There will be two students per time slot. Students can only come with ONE adult family member. NO siblings will be allowed. Adults must have a photo ID with them to enter the building. Both adult and student will be temperature checked at the door. This is a Halloween themed tour so feel free to come dressed in your Halloween Costume. Halloween Masks are not allowed but everyone must wear a face mask to enter the building.
Remote students will meet virtually with their teacher via Zoom. Your remote teacher will be in contact with you for a special activity that she has planned.
Daily Self Certification Form for Hybrid Students
On November 4, parents will fill out and SIGN the certification form received in the mailing prior to sending their Hybrid students to school. Once at school, students will be given a certification booklet to use on subsequent days. Please click here for the self-certification process.
This form must be filled out, SIGNED daily and handed to the first KSD140 staff member that the student sees. If a child does not have the completed form, they will not be able to go to their classroom until we contact parents. If a student is a bus rider, they will give the SIGNED form to the bus driver. If a student is a car rider or walker, they will give the form to a Keller staff member at the entrance of the school. Please note that there is NOT a signature line on this form. Please Sign the form at the top.Thank you for your cooperation.

Arrival
Masks will be worn by students and staff at all times.
Bus riders will hand the SIGNED self-certification form to the bus driver and will be assigned a seat. The buses will drop the students off at the front of the building where they will have their temperature taken before proceeding to the classroom.
Car riders and walkers will also enter through the front of the building. We will NOT be using the back doors for arrival. Students will give the SIGNED form to our Keller staff at the entrance AND will have a temperature check. Both the SIGNED form and normal temperature must be completed before students can proceed to their classroom.
Dismissal
Bus and daycare bus riders will be dismissed through the front doors.
Car riders will be dismissed by grade level through the front doors. Parents must exit their cars, wearing a mask, and walk to your child's section. Each teacher will be holding a sign with their name and grade level. Please maintain social distancing when picking up your child(ren).
Walkers will dismiss out the back door after all the cars have exited the front parking lot. Please wear a mask when you are on school grounds. Thank you.
