Biography: Lenin was born April 22, 1870 in Simbirsk, Russia. He was one of six children and was close with his family. School was important in his life and he was also a great reader. He had a gift for Greek and Latin. His brother was executed and his father had died, so he became the man of the house. He read works by Karl Marx and even got his law degree.

Importance: He became a marxist and eventually took part in a leadership role in the revolutionary movement.

Compatibility: He fits with Marx because they both liked the idea of communism.

Biography: He was born December 18, 1878 in Gori, Georgia. In his 30's he inherited the name 'Stalin' which means "man of steel". He grew up poor and had no siblings. However, like Lenin, he too thought education was important. He secretly read the works of Karl Marx and wanted to go against the Russian monarchy. He took part in criminal activities like bank heists.

Importance: He was a dictator of the soviet union and charged the society into more military based and industrialized. He had enemies executed or sent to labor camps.

Compatibility: Stalin is compatible with Mussolini because they both became dictators at one point and thought military was important.

Biography: He was born on May 6, 1868 in Pushkin, Russia. His father was heir to the Russian Empire. He received education through private tutors. Nicholas became heir to the throne once his grandfather was assassinated. He joined the army when he was 19 and was passionate about the military. He inherited the throne at 49 when his father died and became good friends with Rasputin when his son had a disease he was convinced Rasputin could cure.

Importance: He was the last tsar of Russia under the Romanov rule and believed that he should have absolute power. He handled Bloody Sunday and World War I terribly, which eventually led to his execution.

Compatibility: He is most compatible with Napoleon because they both had power and did not handle a lot of situations very well. They both did not put the needs of the people first.

Biography: He was born to a Siberian peasant family around 1869. Rasputin had little schooling and people claimed he had supernatural powers. He initially wanted to become a monk, but left to get married. He had 3 kids but 2 died soon after birth. He became known as a mystic healer and faith healer. He was introduced to Czar Nicholas II after he left the city.

Importance: Czar Nicholas's son was sick and they believed Rasputin had the power to heal him. They had both grown very close and many people believed Rasputin influenced many of Nicholas's decisions.

Compatibility: The two are compatible because they both believe in "mystic healing". Nicholas looked to Rasputin for his healing when his son became sick.

Biography: He was born on November 7, 1879. He became interested in Marxism during his final year of school. He helped found the South Russian Workers' Union. He got arrested and spent 2 years in prison. He got out and joined the socialist Democratic Party where he met Lenin. Lenin and Trotsky argued over what strategies to use eventually getting him banished.

Importance: communist Trotsky helped start the Russian revolution in 1917 and built the Red Army. He was exiled and killed by Soviet agents.

Compatibility: He is most compatible with Karl Marx because they both share the same beliefs of equality and are willing to stand up for what they believe in.

Biography: Mussolini was born on July 29, 1883 in Italy. His father was a blacksmith and spent much of his time on politics. At a young age, Benito was smart but disobedient. He obtained a teaching certificate in 1901. He wanted to promote socialism and was talented at using rhetorical appeals. He wanted Italy to enter the war, but because of this he was expelled from the organization. After the war, he went back to political activities.

Importance: Mussolini created the Fascist Party in Italy in 1919. This made him a dictator before WWII.

Compatibility: He is compatible with Hitler because they were disobedient and had full power over the people (dictators).

Biography: Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Australia and had 5 other siblings. Once his youngest brother died, he became introverted. He preferred fine art over business and also showed an interest in German nationalism. He lived in a homeless shelter after being rejected by the Academy of Fine Arts twice. He joined the army and was strongly against Marxism, Jews, and the Treaty of Versailles. He got popular from his speeches that once had 3,000 people present for.

Importance: Hitler was the leader of the Nazis in Germany from 1934 to 1945. He started WWII and oversaw fascist policies that resulted in millions of deaths.

Compatibility: Hitler is most compatible with Tojo because they were both responsible for thousands of deaths and focused on military from an early age.

Biography: Tojo was born on December 30, 1884 in Tokyo. His father was a lieutenant general in the imperial Japanese army. Tojo entered the Army Cadet School. After he graduated he became the bureau chief of the Japanese Army. He took an interest in militarist politics.

Importance: He was the general of the Imperial Japanese Army, the 40th prime minister of Japan, and leader of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association.

Compatibility: He is the most compatible with Hitler due to the fact that they both grew up with military as a priority and became powerful rulers.
