Campus Reminders
Arrival
Safety is our top priority so we are asking that parents please do not be on their cell phones during drop off times. This will help all parents be vigilant to their surroundings.
Due to the constant changing of Texas weather, we now have both entrances in the front of the school open for scholars to enter through. We have an adult standing at each door to welcome scholars.

Greetings from the hard-working volunteers of CHCPPTA!
- The CHCPPTA newsletter is always online!
- This Thursday, 3/31 @6pm, we will be gathering at Longhorn Park to dedicate the CHCPPTA Little Free Library, installed in honor of our beloved Ms Gena Jackson. We'll have light refreshments, event giveaways, and representatives from Zula B. Wylie Library to further encourage young readers. The weather should be lovely, come on out and enjoy a little time at the park. Bring a book to donate and/or take one home with you!
- March is WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH and DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AWARENESS MONTH! Check out our website for some great books to share with your scholars about women who have pioneered in the medical field, as well as the Kids First: My Unique Abilities program from the Texas PTA.

- Make reading a part of your daily routine.
- Ask your child questions.
- Play rhyming games to build phonemic awareness . . . and just for fun.
- Bring reading and writing into everyday life.
- Be attentive and engaged when you communicate with your child.
- Read together.
