Chatfield FFA at the National FFA Convention
11 Chatfield FFA Members traveled to Indianapolis for the 94th Annual National FFA Convention Tues Oct 26-Sat Oct 30
During the trip we toured different business, attended the largest career fair in the US and received the 3 Star Chapter Award for the 5th year in a row! The top ten percent of chapters in a state get sent onto Nationals for judging. At the national level they are rated 1,2 or 3 stars. 3 Stars is the highest honor that a chapter can achieve. Way to go Chatfield! And as always we couldn’t reach this level of excellence without the support of our school and community. Thank you so much!
Ms Fritz also received her Honorary American Degree this year - a top honor only received by those nominated by FFA State Staff. "The Honorary American Degree is given to individuals who have provided exceptional service on a national level to agriculture, agricultural education or FFA. Additionally, teachers who have created high quality agricultural education programs which inspire and motivate their students to strive for success are eligible for the Honoray American Degree" - National FFA Organization
Help Chatfield FFA #Breakthestigma on mental health!
When someone’s tractor or car gets stuck, we don’t hesitate to help but when it involves mental health we can feel powerless to help. The Chatfield FFA is raising money to host a safeTALK training in Chatfield that will help break these barriers and give people the tools to help each other in mental health situations
Join us Saturday November 6 from 11am-1pm at the Chatfield High School for a very special #Breakthestigma event!
We encourage friends and families to come join us anytime between 11-1 for a special #BreaktheStigma walk in the High School gym complete with music and decorations, a free will donation meal of Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, face painting for kids of all ages and a chance to leave their mark on our very special #BreaktheStigma wall. This wall is available to help celebrate those who are currently making it through their mental health journey and to memorialize those who have been taken too soon. Resources on mental health will also be available and ‘We love our local farmers’ signs, special event t-shirts and medallions will be available to purchase

Chatfield FFA Crop Plot
This plot pays for things like FFA membership and transportation for all who participate in activities. No socio-economic barriers to being a member of the Chatfield FFA due to this great program! Of course there are awesome people who donate their time and equipment/seed to help make this happen and we appreciate you!
