Per Maverick rules, no parents are allowed on any equipment. Maverick also does not allow jeans on any equipment. No siblings may come on this field trip. In order for your child to participate at Maverick, you MUST fill out and return a release form. Genius Hour
We love having Genius Hour in our classrooms! Third grade has begun Genius Hour as a grade level, all together! It's fantastic! Read the flyer attached to get a better idea of what Genius Hour is and why it is being implemented in the classroom.
A few tips:
- Genius Hour is an hour set aside to learn whatever students want to learn AT SCHOOL.
- Please do not complete Genius Hour projects at home, they are to be explored and experienced during the Genius Hour time at school.
- Any materials that we have here at school are open to use. If there are other materials needed for something your child is wanting to learn during Genius Hour (ex. posterboard, boxes, ingredients, etc.) they must be brought from home; HOWEVER, it is NOT REQUIRED. If they cannot find the materials at home or you are unable to get the materials, students can adjust their project to fit, or explore other options. It's all about the learning process!

Multiplication Fluency Practice
We have created a list of websites that students can use to practice multiplication fluency at home. Along with these websites, there are many multiplication Apps available for free to download.
