Greetings parents and students
Learning will continue at home in week 2
- Teaching will be mostly be on Google classroom and live sessions will be on Zoom or other platforms that the teacher will choose to use.
- Most teachers and students have been using these platforms already.
- For those students not familiar to Google classroom, your teacher will invite you to join their class. To ease this process, please create a gmail account and send to your teacher, program coordinator or myself.
- Assessment will continue to take place, but in a modified manner that can be done online.
- Teachers will confirm if the assessment given is to be done as homework or classwork.
- Quick school will continue to be our main channel of communication and receiving homework. Ensure your emails are updated - if not send Ms. Pamela the updated one on simbip@greenhillsacademy.rw
Week 2 Timetable
Expectations during home learning
- Academic honesty policy will still apply for any assessment or any other work. This will be checked all the time.
- Meeting deadlines- teachers will ensure that at least 2 days are given to complete homework. The homework timetable is indicated on the general timetable.
- Reporting any technical/internet issues - if you cannot do an assignment due to any technical difficulties, you need to inform the teacher in good time and give a time frame when the issue is going to be solved. Parents are requested to ensure all that is needed for students to access learning at home is put in place.
- Teachers will be giving more learning and revision sites to support the students home learning.
- For home learning to be successful, all of us will ensure that we read all communication regularly.
