Character Education Newsletter
Blain Elementary School - January 2020
Self-Control
During the month of January, we are focusing on the character trait of Self-Control; doing what is right, even when you don't feel like it. Students will be encouraged to think before they act, control his/her temper, respect others and their belongings, sit still and be quiet, and build healthy habits. Classes will practice maintaining self-control by working on a variety of activities and by playing games.
Mustang Tickets
Mustang Tickets for Respect, Responsibility, and Self-Control continue to be distributed.

Be Kind Campaign 2020
Remember to wear your Be Kind shirts on Fridays in February to celebrate WPSD, other Perry County schools, and Perry Human Services joining together for a Kindness Campaign. During the month of February, each day will focus on a different act of kindness. Research has shown that if you show kindness to someone, they will then show kindness to 4 other people. Help us spread kindness all throughout our school and Perry County! Don’t forget to share your kindness stories by using #pecobekind on social media.
We look forward to celebrating this month of kindness with you!
