When can I enroll in a Spanish course?
If you want to do a course in the Official School of Languages of San Sebastian de los Reyes you have to sign up at the school secretary office either from JUNE to SEPTEMBER for courses starting in October or in JANUARY for courses starting in February.
What kind of courses are there? How long does each course take?
There are two types of evening courses:
· Four month courses October–January or February-June: Lessons 4 days per week (132 hours tuition).
- Nine month courses October - June: Lessons 2 days per week (132 hours tuition).
What are the courses timetables (may be subject to change)
-BASIC LEVELS. Monday to Thursday from 16:45 to 19:00 hrs (four month courses)
-INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 21:00 hrs (four month courses)
-ADVANCED LEVEL: from 19:00 to 21:15 hrs (nine month courses; 2 days per week))
What are the courses offered* according to the CEFR?
BASIC LEVEL1 (=A1)
BASIC LEVEL 2 (=A2)
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL 1 (= B1.1)
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL 2 (=B1.2)

Should I take a Placement Test?
If you have some knowledge of Spanish it is advisable to take a placement test so as to know your language level and the course to enroll. You may be tested in reading comprehension, writing and speaking.
The placement test takes place in September (for courses starting in October) or in January (for courses starting in February).
Check the dates and times of the test on the web or at the Secretary’s office.
What documents do I need to enroll?
-Identity Card or Passport (the original and a photocopy)
-Application form-Proof of payment fees
-School certificate validated with a sworn translation (only non Eupean Citizens)
How much is the course?
A course of 130-136 hours: 269 Euros. The fees are set by the Community of Madrid.
What certification do I get at the Official School of Languages (the EOI)?
The Official School of Languages issues an Official Certificate for each level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The exam fees are included in the course fees.
