MARINER WEEKLY!
October 10, 2022
ANCHORED IN SUCCESS!
Our Anchored In Success focus this month deals with Respect and Tolerance. This past Friday, discussions were held during an extended homeroom. For the remainder of the month, we will be honoring those students who demonstrate these traits. Staff members will have the opportunity to nominate deserving students. Each will receive a certificate and be entered into a raffle at the end of the month.
At our grade level meetings during our opening week of school we discussed the importance of all of us being accountable to each other. We have required our students to be in their first period classes at the 7:15am bell and they have done an excellent job thus far.
Additionally, all of our staff and students are required to wear their school ID's throughout the day and be in their classrooms at the bell during each period of the day. We can all agree that the safety of our staff and students is paramount. Doing these little things for each other will help towards maintaining a safe environment in which everyone can thrive. Please speak with your daughters and sons about the importance of these accountability practices.

To Donate: If you have any lightly used clothes with no holes or stains (pants, shirts, maybe some dresses or formal wear, sneakers) that you would like to donate for students in need, please have your student bring them to C08. We are asking for all clothing items to be washed before being brought into the school.
To Use: If your student would need to utilize the Treasure Trove, you may contact your student's guidance counselor and we can set up a time for your student to pick out clothes.
