August 2021 Newsletter
Welcome to the 2021-22 School Year
Our experienced OCEAN K-12 teachers, Daniel Molotsky and Molly O'Brien, will be joined by Kyle Reynolds to provide a complete K-12 learning experience with classroom, experiential and expeditionary experiences, and connections with parents and the community. You can read more about Kyle in this newsletter. Additionally, OCEAN will be supported by the new Blue Heron and OCEAN Counselor, Eliza Farrell.
All OCEAN K-12 students will attend in-person classes as part of their learning plan. We will follow the district COVID health and safety protocols including masking, distancing, and hand washing. More information will be provided in the coming weeks and at Back to School Night about health and safety measures.
In addition to my focus on OCEAN K-12, I will be directing the new Online Program as the Alternative Learning Experience Director and will continue to be the District Place-Based Learning Director. If you need to reach for any reason me I am available by email or phone, as well as on site at OCEAN throughout the year.
Best wishes,
Sarah Rubenstein
