A Peek at the past week:
This week we continued our focus on fall leaves and the changing colors. We read books about leaves and fall activities. Certainly the highlight of the week was our trip to the Farm! A great time was had by all the children. Click on the video below to watch the pig races.
Math focus continues to be on counting and writing our numbers to 20. We have learned that teens are one group of ten and some more.
Our Science Unit this week looked at motion. We read about and explored how objects move. Friday we played with marble works and talked about rolling and sliding.
Friday we also had our Boosterthon Fun Run. Beautiful weather and lots of fun running to support Kedron.

Thank you to the parents who were able to come out and cheer on the students!
Many thanks to our Moms that came out and Chaperoned our field trip! Your help is appreciated!
A look ahead...
On Monday,October the 19th we will celebrate the 50th day of school by dressing up like we are in the 1950's and having an old fashioned day at school. We will top it off with root beer floats. Please do not go out and purchase anything. Be creative and use what you have at home! Here are some ideas: Girls, skirts, cardigans, ponytails &neck scarves; Boys, white shirts, jeans or dark pants, hair slicked back, Jean jacket or sweater. If you would like to help out with our Root beer floats, please let me know.
We will have a short week next week. Enjoy the long weekend! Thursday our students will have an in house field trip. The Alliance theater will be coming to our school to present a play for the Kindergarten students.
Thank you to everyone for supporting our School wide fundraiser.
Please continue to bring in Box tops off of your General Mills products. They earn $ for our school. Thanks!
