Engineering Career Consultant

The College of Engineering welcomes Megan Elrath to the Career Services team. Megan joined UGA’s Career Center in January 2016 as a Career Consultant specializing in engineering and pre-health. Megan’s career includes several years of experience at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; where she held the roles of Co-op Coordinator, Associate Teaching Professor and Associate Director of Academic Services. In all of these roles, Megan worked extensively with engineering students and has helped to launch the careers of students in many engineering disciplines. Additionally, Megan has earned the credential of Certified Professional Résumé Writer from the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches and has written and critiqued thousands of résumés for students and young professionals. Megan will be working closely with Kelley Saussy, Director of Experiential Education, to develop a comprehensive career development approach for the College of Engineering.


You can make an appointment with Megan at the Career Center by calling (706) 542-3375. She will also be available for walk-ins on Mondays from 1:30pm until 3:30pm in Driftmier 101 beginning on Monday, February 15.

Shuttles will run from campus to the Classic Center between 11:30am and 5:00pm. Bus stops for students include: Memorial Hall, Bio-Chem, Physics, across from the Library. Wednesday, February 3, 5pm - Coverdell Center, room 175

Meet with CIANBRO, one of the United States’ largest, most diverse, successful, open shop, 100% employee-owned (30th largest in the United States) construction and construction services companies. They are recruiting Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering students for internships, co-ops, and full-time positions. Engineering Expedition – John Deere

Tuesday, February 16, 8am-6pm
