Monday Motivational Moment with Mo!
Roos around Campus!
We love to see the great things our students are doing on campus through the week. Our students are involved in multiple activities through the week and we love to showcase them. We are so proud of our ROTC Cadets who participate in Cross Country! Our Tennis team had a big win this week! As Shawn Anchor says, "Happiness is an incredibly competitive advantage", and we sure are happy to see the amazing representation for Roo Nation!
Last week, Our Football teams (V/JV/F) squared up against Chaparral. All of our teams won their games against the bobcats! We held "Howdy Week" to amp up the school spirit and support our Roos! We sure did beat those bobkittens!

Meet Marvin Gamble - Skills and Basketball
I began this journey in education after a career in the Air Force. I have been at Sugar Loaf ES and Pershing Park ES where I was a 5th grade and CASTLE I teacher. I grew up in Killeen, so I pride myself in giving back to the community by doing what I can to help mold our youngsters into respectable, well-mannered, productive members of society. I attended Hay Branch ES, Rancier MS, and Killeen HS. I have a bachelor's degree in Technical Management, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I am currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction-Special Education at Liberty University.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks.
Open Enrollment Meeting
KHS will be hosting one of the open enrollment meetings for KISD staff to get information on benefits for the upcoming year! The meeting will be held in the Cafeteria from 4:30 - 6:00PM.

Positive Referrals
At Killeen High School, we have a set of values that represent our campus. These values are School Pride, Relationships, Collaboration, Success, and Integrity. When we see our students embodying our values and completing positive, thoughtful acts around campus we like to celebrate them with our "Positive Referrals". In this section, you will see the students who earned Positive Referrals each week! Roo Pride is Justified!
