Builders and Beyond
The Romans were the greatest builders of roads, bridges, and the aqueducts in the ancient world, though even today we are still learning and dictating some of the methods and structure types that the Roman first used. Without them, many things would be different. Travel may have been much slower due to the fact that the Romans were the ones who came up with the basic consept of them; transportation would also be difficult because Romans also were the best builders of bridges, without bridges crossing something such as a river would take more time.
