Sensory Details

Students were challenged this week to use sensory details to describe an item they either felt or smelled. They were blindfolded and had no idea what they were smelling or feeling until after they had written about their experience.

What's Coming Up

Next week students will begin working on a personal narrative. They will demonstrate their mastery of using sensory details in their writing by writing about their favorite memory or an important time in their life. There will also be a quiz on Wednesday, November 18 over Greek and Latin roots and words from this week.
