Announcements for the Week of March 25, 2019
STAFF AND PARENT INPUT MEETING SCHEDULED: Our Area Superintendent, Pam Kinsey-Barker has asked that all staff (minus Mr. Biles) meet with her on Friday, March 29 from 8-8:30 in the media center. She would like your input about the characteristics and qualities we would most like to see in our next Principal. Please review her letter requesting staff and parent input. There will also be a parent input session for parents on Thursday, March 28 from 5-5:30 PM.
SPRING FLING: The spring fling is fast approaching ( Sunday, March 31st.) Please look for emails this week regarding the Spring Fling and other information you will need to know. The event is still in need of volunteers. PLEASE consider donating ONE HOUR of your time to help make this fundraising event a success. Info on signing up to volunteer AND be entered in the drawing for the Four Pack of Disney Park Hopper Tickets is in the parent Sunday Message. If you are not attending for whatever reason please make sure you have talked to Mr. Biles. All staff are requested to attend.
PANORAMA EDUCATION FAMILY SURVEY LAUNCH: A survey for parents to inform the County of parents’ perception of our school will be sent out in email links to families this Monday, March 25th. Parents will receive an email with a specific link for for each school his/her children attend. It is important that we have many surveys completed. We will send home information in this week’s Tuesday folder. Please help us advertise the survey in your weekly newsletters.
FOOD DRIVE: Ms. Schreier would like to thank you all for your help with the recent food drive.
PURPLE PAW COMPLIMENTS PROGRAM: This is a reminder that we will be taking NEW pictures of classes who have earned Bronze, Silver, and Gold. If you do not CURRENTLY have a classroom picture on the board in the front hall and you have earned it, please let Ms. Schreier know.
YEARBOOK PICTURES NEEDED: The PTA Yearbook Committee is wrapping up the yearbook. They really need images for your montage pages to ensure kids from each grade, class and track are included. Pictures of individuals, small groups, full class, playground, etc. are all good. 10 to 20 images from your classes this week would be great. Touch base with your room parent to see what pictures have been turned in already and add to those. Pictures can be emailed but better yet dropped into folder at address below.
You can email them to us: pue-yearbook@outloook.com (label grade, track so we can identify)
Drop them in your class folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_iHPbI1fhEYD4Cq4fcniNeRJ2z0Sfk29
