Hello and Happy Friday!

I’m so excited that the weather has cooled down a bit for us this week. It looks like temps might be warming up for the weekend then we'll get to enjoy a couple more days of cool weather next week. We Floridians are always thrilled with the opportunity to wear a sweater and some boots!

The first week of our 12 Days of Christmas has been a blast! We were so pleasantly surprised by how excited the students were to look for Polar Express tickets. It was so much fun! Monday students are invited to wear Santa hats. Our theme will be Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

I hope all of you have had a wonderful week and are looking forward to our Christmas program as much as I am. Our students always do such a good job and I know you are going to love the songs they will perform. Our Elementary Chorus will also be performing so we are all in for a big treat! The program begins at 6:30 in the gym, the doors will open at 6:00. Miss Richmond has requested that the attire for the evening be festive church attire. If you have family elsewhere who would like to join us virtually, Mr. Horton will be livestreaming the event. I will send the link in an email Monday afternoon.

Next week is our last full week before the break. I know our teachers are trying to wrap things up and it can feel hectic at this time of the year so I have been encouraging all of the students to hang in there. They have all worked so hard and I’m so proud of all they have accomplished so far!

I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and I will look forward to seeing you Monday evening!

The love being shown for our neighbors in the Panhandle is so touching. We will be packing up the truck on Friday, December 14. Thank you so much for supporting this special cause.
