September 13, 2023
September is in full swing! Our after school program has started and with it has brought a full calendar of club meetings and events across campus. We hope your student has found a way to connect on campus through the variety of offerings.
As always, please reach out if you need any assistance or have any questions.

Friday Family Coffee
Our first session of the year was Friday, September 1st and it was wonderful to see so many of our families in attendance. A link to the presentation can be found on our website and is included here as well. https://www.aliefisd.net/domain/7745
Due to the October school holiday, our October session will be on Friday, October 13th at 7:30am.
Shared Decision Making Committee
Looking for a way to get more involved on campus? The Shared Decision Making committee is looking for parent and community membership to join campus staff at their monthly meetings.
Each school in Alief ISD has a Shared Decision-Making Committee (SDC) to provide guidance and support for school improvement and to ensure compliance with state & local requirements. Our SDC typically meets once a month at Kerr from 3:00pm - 4:15pm on the 4th Monday.
If this is an opportunity that interests you, please respond by Monday, SEPT 18 @ 10AM using the form linked here. https://forms.gle/roQf5yHA6vkRbNzz5
