Earn an Associate and/or Bachelor's Degree for Free for You and Your Family Members
Dear Classified Union Member,
The COVID-19 pandemic is causing financial hardship and stress on many CSEA families. That’s why, for a limited time, we have made both of our College Degree Programs FREE.*
Check out these two CSEA College Programs:
- Free Associate Degree Program
- Bachelor's Degree Completion Program*
The online Associate degree program is offered in partnership with Eastern Gateway Community College and the online Bachelor's degree completion program is offered in partnership with Central State University. Both are fully accredited, public, and not-for-profit institutions based in Ohio. While the Associate degree program has always been free, the Bachelor's degree was not free until now.
*Members and family members who enroll by May 18 for the summer term and stay continuously enrolled on either a part- or full-time basis will complete their entire Bachelor's degree completion program for free.
Who is eligible?
- Active and Retired CSEA Members
- Spouses, domestic partners, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings, and any other family members of CSEA active and retired members. Family does not need to be living with you, nor do they need to be your financial dependent to qualify.
Go to www.csea.com/education for more information and to get started. Applications are accepted year-round and classes start every eight (8) weeks.
Looking to Earn Your Teaching Credential? Complete your Bachelor's degree in Education through our program at Central State University and obtain your Ohio teaching license. Then transfer that license to a California teaching credential.
