UNDER THE SEA...
Ms. Ginni's Class
Sand! Waves! Fish! So much fun! Teaching young students about oceans can mean tons of excitement. We all have experienced a trip to the ocean and this week our teachers brought the ocean into our classroom by incorporating various ocean-themed activities. Join us as we dive into activities that will introduce us to the types of animals and creatures that make up the ocean habitat.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS!
We need recyclable items to prepare things for our Art Exhibition in April!
SAVE THE DATE!
Feed Mr. Shark! Alphabet & Numbers Game
This week we had ocean themed fun every day!!
On Monday, we played a simple shark alphabet game that all the kids enjoyed. They even helped me adapt it to use it with numbers and letters.
We explored letters, colors and numbers. Every time we put a fish into the shark's mouth we would tell the color, letter or number.
SWEET WATER vs SALTY WATER
Then Ms. Ginni made us taste both the fresh water and the salt water. We talked about how ocean water is salty but the water we drink everyday is not.
