Weekly Updates/ Reminders:
- ACTION: Continue to check your emails for PLC Agenda and Action Items-- this email will be sent on Sunday night.
- Lesson plans must be available upon request to any visitor.
- Homework must go home with students on a weekly basis, please make sure that you are sending home ample opportunities for practice and review
- Students should be on iReady for 45 minutes per week in both ELA and Math, please be reminded that the usage of this program is first priority. If you are using any other programs they should only be utilized supplementary.
- ALL students are required to take ALL district assessments, this includes iReady, Achievement Series and grade level Common Formative Assessments-- no excuses will be accepted on why a student was not assessed.

- Please check the district catalog on MLP for upcoming Math, Science and ELA Professional Development opportunities.
Instructional Levers:
- Student Friendly I can statements posted and highly visible for all core subjects
- Have you made the lesson culturally relevant to the student's life so that they are able to make connections and feel the relevance/reason for learning the objective?
- How am I checking for the understanding of ALL students? Exit Tickets?
- Are your small groups and stations up and running?
- During classroom visits we will be looking for the use of Exit Tickets and observing Guided Reading Groups.
Weekly Behavioral LOOK-FORS:
- Morning Restorative Community Circles implemented with fidelity and as a means to build relationships and classroom communtiy
- Safe Seat set up in our classrooms
- Are we having Restorative Conversation with our students?

- Ms. Harnage: Organizing and providing support for Junior Achievement for Grades K-2.
- Attendance Committee & all who volunteered: A wonderful Pancake Breakfast for our students and families.
- Ms. Miller, Ms. Mulhern, and Mr. Vance-Stepping in and Stepping up and helping with ALL of our students at Wheatley.
- Mrs. Grossman and Mrs. Quigley: Continue to provided extra support and accommodations for our student during small groups and stations.
- Wheatley Staff: Completing your testing in a timely fashion.
