Piece of the Puzzle
This Week's Piece of the Puzzle is Heidi Shaull. Heidi is a special education teacher at the Waynesboro Area Senior High School, as well as the varsity basketball coach at WASHS.
In her role at WASHS, she teaches students life skills but most importantly gives them the confidence and knowledge to be successful in their future. Mrs, Shaull utilizes Alma's Beneficial House where she takes the students to learn these skills that are so essential in everyday life. She has such a caring and compassionate heart. Her smile is infectious and her attitude radiates positivity and joy. She is perfect for her role as a special education teacher.
Not only is she a teacher, she coaches girls basketball, as well. She is such a great role model for the girls and gives so much of her time, from spreadsheets, late hours watching film, organizing practice and team bonding, to adapting a new offense so that we can be competitive. Doing all of this while being a wife and a mom to her three children. She is just simply amazing as she juggles all of these tasks. She does all this with patience, dignity and grace. She definitely deserves the recognition.
Please congratulate Heidi Shaull as this week's Piece of the Puzzle!
