Fall Festival Stem activities.

Take pictures of completed activities and send via class dojo. This will be how I take attendance for Monday.

3. Please be sure your child is completing all learning responsibilities daily.
This includes each zoom class, google classroom assignments, google forms, google docs, razkids, dreambox, MobyMax math fact fluency, etc.
2nd Grade Learning Targets
Math:
I can skip count with 1,000 by 5's, 10's, and 100's (Review skill)
I can add and subtract within 100 using different strategies of problem solving. (New Skill)
Reading:
I can answer questions about a story.
Spelling/Phonics:
I can print all upper and lowercase letters legibly and proportionally.
Grammar:
I can recognize and use common and proper nouns in sentences (New skill)
Writing:
I can write a about events from my experiences using the words I and my. (Narratives)
Science:
I can know examples of matter that change from a solid to a liquid and from a liquid to a solid by heating and cooling. (Review Skill)
I can compare the amount of water in a container before and after freezing. (New Skill)
Zones/Health: I can know my emotions and manage stress.
3rd Grade Learning Targets
adding/subtracting using a number line and decomposing strategies
Reading: I can Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for the answers.
