Art Holiday Market!

STEAM Holiday Market!

Dear parents and families,

Students from Kindergarten to 5th grade have been busy in both Art and STEM creating products they would like to sell to raise funds for both those programs. All the funds collected will go towards buying supplies for either the art studio or the STEM lab and will directly support student learning.

Every product was created in grade-level student collaboration and they are all priced at $0.50. We will be selling lanterns, recycled paper cards (that can be planted!), slime, bath bombs, ornaments, earrings, and candles!

Please come support our school! The holiday market table will be set up by the front office during arrival and dismissal next week.

We would also like to invite parent volunteers to help with the sale. Please contact Ms. Romano or Ms. Leikness if you are able to help.

Thank you for your support!

Mr. McClellan's Science Spotlight

We love you Mr. McClellan

This was Mr. McClellan's last week at Osceola Science. The students enjoyed going over more fun facts about dry ice this week - experimenting with various questions about the nature of this frozen carbon dioxide. These two girls we're amazed how a balloon could be blown up with a little piece of dry ice. The children also we're astonished that a smoke bubble could roll down a towel. Then Mr. McClellan showed them how to make smoke rings with dry ice. Wow! Really cool stuff. Lastly, "Mr.McWiz" took dry ice, placed it in a plastic container and watched Newtons 3rd Law of motion do its magic as it spun around quickly - just like Hero's Turbine! If you want to follow Mr.McClellan's science you can go to and watch his website as it develops! The children at this school are amazing, curious and love to be challenged
