Monday Mail
Mashburn Elementary
A Message From Our Principal
As we send out final Monday Mail for 2019-2020. I am so thankful and Blessed to work with such an OUTSTANDING group of people.
You have made an IMPACT on me each day as you continually face each challenge during this time with a positive attitude and “How can we accomplish this?”. You made sure students continued to receive great learning and to meet their needs.
Thank you for your willingness, determination, and drive during a time of many unknowns. You never gave up and you kept pushing forward!!
Now, 4 days of school and handing out students’ supplies. Then, SUMMER- enjoy every moment!!!! Make summer about you and your family.
Love,
Carla
Technology Collection-Please Read
You may have parents contacting you stating that they are not available to return technology on the Tuesday the 26th and Wednesday the 27th. I wish we had wiggle room on those dates but unfortunately, we have to have the device by May 27th since the technology department is taking all Chromebooks to sanitize and run updates. If a parent expresses concerns, please let them know that as long as they have the return form with the device signed by the parents, anyone can drop it off. It does not have to be a Mashburn family as long as they have the form. Another option is to see if any of the other time slots work for them. Please only give this option if parents contact you individually, do not email out to the entire distribution list. Thank you for your help!

Read to Succeed Program
Happy last week of school everyone! Thank you to everyone that participated in the Six Flags Read To Succeed Program this year. The tickets have been emailed to parents and a duplicate copy has been emailed to the teachers. Parents should see the following message in the email from Six Flags:
IMPORTANT: Your child's teacher might ALSO send you a COPY of the ticket that is linked to this email. The ticket from the teacher is a DUPLICATE of the ticket linked below. We sent it to both you and your child's teacher to make absolute sure you received it.
If you would like to send parents the copy of the tickets you received you can, but I wanted to make sure you all knew that they should have received an emailed copy as well. If you have any questions, let me know.
Thanks,
Amber
