Parents Actively Working With Students
Here at FSE we want our parents/guardians to be active and engaged in their student’s education! We want to build relationships and strong partnerships with our families. One way we want to achieve this is by getting volunteers on our campus. There are numerous ways you can be involved here at FSE. Whether you have mornings, afternoons, or full days, we have something here for you!
Ways a P.A.W.W.S Volunteer can assist at FSE:
Standing outside in the morning when students are arriving.
Assist during lunch times and transition of students.
Ensure safe passage of students by working the cross walk in the parking lot.
Walking the halls and being observant
Organizing games and playing with students at recess
Reading books to students in the classroom
Helping in the Homework Lab before school
Some additional ways to help here at school:
Fundraiser processing
Preparing instructional materials (copies, cutting, laminating, etc.)
Reward days
Answer incoming phone calls
Distributing mail, messages, birthday items, etc.
FSE knows your time is precious and as valuable as your kids, so you do not need to be available every day and all day. Volunteer when you can!
