Mental Health Awareness Month
For some students the end of year may be a stressful time as they anticipate change to their routines, transition from their current teachers, and finish end of year testing and activities. In addition to eating healthy, drinking water and exercising, having unstructured time is important as students manage the end of the school year. Knowing what to expect day to day, getting enough rest, powering down devices, seeing adults model self care and healthy coping, hearing words of encouragement, and enjoying some low stress family activities to celebrate their efforts can help.
See the Family Wellness Resource Website to learn more about mental health and other resources.
