At Eisenberg I work with those students that typically show a higher level of need, mostly behaviorally but we service those students that may have more family concerns, have experienced trauma and/or need more mental health or behavioral support. With a caseload of 15-17, I do home visits, often have a lot of contact with the families and work with the entire family. While in school I am available for my students when they need to meet, if they need removal from the classroom or a break, check in and check out and monitoring point cards. I participate in IEP and 504 meetings, consult with teachers and provide direct interventions for student success in the classroom and make routine contact with guardians.
Extra stuff I do at the Berg - Run the FOOD PANTRY to provide immediate food relief to any of our families at Eisenberg (also McCullough, Leach, and Wilmington Manor), co-lead the student council (Big E), clothing and resource closet, basic needs closet, household resources, weekend backpack program, school supplies, and the mentoring program.
