The Art Show is Going Digital
Since DCSD has switched to remote learning for the remainder of the school year, we are sad to announce that the 2020 DCSD K-12 Art Show has officially been cancelled.
However, even though we are unable to display artwork at Park Meadows, the Art Show Committee still wishes to showcase the incredible talent and exceptional hard work from your students and our amazing art teachers. These are trying times. Now, more than ever, celebrating creative achievement can remind students (and ourselves) how art enriches our lives and our community.
Which is why we have been hard at work to develop a digital solution. Starting Monday, April 20, we will begin displaying student artwork on the DCSD website and across social media. Each Monday, the Art Show Committee will select five submissions from each school level: elementary, middle school, and high school. The selected artwork will be displayed in a digital gallery at www.dcsdk12.org/artshow. Take a look at this week's featured pieces!
