Plasma or Cell membrane
The cell membrane controls the movement of substances in and out of the cell. The basic function of the cell membrane is to protect the cell from its surroundings. It has phospholipid bilayer with embedded proteins the fats are on the outer layers and the proteins are in between. The cell membrane is in both animal and plant cells.
Cell walls are made up of the sugar called cellulose. It is like the framework of the cell. Cell walls are only found in plant cells.
