Message From Mr. A,

For the next 6 weeks, there is an attendance incentive for all students. Those students who have perfect attendance during this time period will get to jump in a bounce house during their recess period at the end of the 6 weeks. Also, there will be a drawing for these students for prizes (one for K-2 and one for 3-5). There will even be a gift basket for one lucky parent!

A friendly reminder that Friday, October 27th is Birthday Friday as well as $1 jean day. Any baked goods brought to share must be store bought due to allergies. Students can wear blue jeans for $1. Jeans must be worn at the natural waist, should only be blue denim (no printed logos or emblems on jeans), no torn jeans or jeans with holes.

Help Support the Fight

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and before it comes to an end NEHS would like for our students, parents and staff to unite in the fight against breast cancer. Monday, October 30th will be Pink Out Day. We are asking staff and students to wear a pink in a creative way. Students that donate $5.00 will receive a pink item of their choice. Students that donate $10.00 or more will receive a pink item plus a free dress coupon. All proceeds will go to The American Cancer Association. NEHS students will greatly appreciate your support in their 1st service event as Life School Leaders!

October is Volunteer Month. Life School encourages not only it's staff members, but students and their families as well, to volunteer their time/effort in the local community. All of LSMC Staff have made a commitment to volunteer this month and will be tweeting their experiences and pictures. Please share your family experiences with us by tweeting us @Life_Eagles.

Its that time of the year! Flu season is upon us. Please access the following site to find a free and or reasonably priced location for flu shots. Thank you for helping keep your kids healthy, well and happy.
