Celebrating 60 Years Of Service At Wolfsville

On Friday, March 22nd our community came together to pay tribute to our school which marks its 60th year of service. Throughout the ceremony we heard beautiful tributes to Wolfsville's service and legacy. I shared in my concluding remarks the following sentiments:

A lot can change in 60 years.

A lot can stay the same in 60 years.

As the proud principal of Wolfsville I can stand before you today and share that we uphold and honor the traditions and values of those educators and many of you who have preceded our work.

  • Love

  • Honoring the Individuality of every student's journey

  • Community

These values are cemented into the foundation of the building in which we stand today and also within our hearts. It is who we are and how we serve.

As we forge into the 21st century and the next 60 years our students education may look a bit different, but we know, love and teach EVERY child.

A lot can change in 60 years.

A lot can stay the same.

Thank you to our current staff members for all of their planning and preparation to ensure the celebration was a perfect tribute to our special school! We also were so fortunate to have guest speakers and honored guests as Dr. Alban, Pastor Robert Snyder and Marlene Young. Many former Wolfsville principals, students, and teachers accompanied us as well as our cherished community members. I appreciate you all and your continued contributions to our school.

Here's to the next 60 years!

Visitor Management System

REMINDER: FCPS has implemented a Visitor Management System in all schools. This system allows schools to better track visitors, contractors, and volunteers and provide a safer environment for all students. It also allows school administrators to know who is the building at any given time.

When you come to our school, you will be asked for your driver's license or another form of government issued ID. If you do not have a formal ID, you will be asked your name and birth date. Your information will be entered into the visitor management system (VMS) every time you visit the school. Out of respect to the privacy of our visitors and guests, the system is not connected to any other database such as the Department of Motor Vehicles, and information is not shared with any outside agencies. Once the ID scan is done and entry is approved, the system will issue a visitor's sticker that identifies the visitor, the date, and the purpose of the visit.

Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation with this new VMS (Visitor Management System).

Kennedy Center Field Trip

Thank you to Dr. and Mrs. Price who once again funded tickets for all of our students in grades 3-5 to attend a field trip to the Kennedy Center. Our local Wolfsville Ruritan club funded the buses for this field trip. Without our community partners generosity this experience would not have been possible!
