Happy February! It's hard to believe that we are approaching the 100th day of school! Our staff have worked so hard this year, and we are looking forward to seeing the continued growth of our students. I am so proud of them!

As you may know, the 2023-2024 Early Learning application window has opened. To access the online application, go to ccsdschools.com/prek or call the Early Learning Department at 843-937-7914. Additional details about Early Learning are available on the CCSD Mobile App and on the district website.

Friday, February 10 is our 2nd Annual Bids and BBQ fundraiser at Middleton and Maker. This is a great adults only event that supports Laurel Hill! You can purchase your tickets here.

Read Across America Week will be celebrated March 6-10. You can find more details on our website.

Yearbooks are on sale! You can purchase yours here. Congrats to Noah O., Evelyn R., and Savannah B. for winning our yearbook cover contest!

Finally, we are seeing a huge uptick in the number of students that are arriving after 7:30. Please remember, if you arrive after 7:30, you must get out of your car and sign in your students. We are seeing too many parents drop off their child without adult supervision after staff members have shut the doors. We urge you to arrive by 7:25 to ensure they are ready to start their day at 7:30.
