Happy Sunday Families!
What a great week at Clyde Erwin! Our Battle of the Books Team competed this past Friday and did an outstanding job. Thank you to Mrs. Joy for coaching them.
Our Odyssey of the Mind Team performed in Kitty Hawk this weekend and placed first, they are headed to the State competition at Western Carolina University! Michael Abney was awarded the Ranatra Fusca award during the competition for his creativity during the spontaneous round. The judges said 75% of his responses were marked creative. We are so proud of the team and their coaches, Mrs. Abney and Mrs. Waters. We also want to send a special thank you to all of the parents who attended the competition, we are ready for the next challenge on April 2.
