During OSS last week, students enjoyed several hikes with their naturalist. Outdoor activities were a part of nearly each morning, afternoon and evening.
Jacob and others shared their knowledge about the geosphere prior to beginning a hike on Wednesday. Groups included sixth grade students from Sycamore, Oakmont and Vista.
All week long, students worked together on a goal to reduce food waste. At each meal, they measured and reported about the group's liquid and solid waste. Here's a glimpse at a report by Sophia and Ryan.
Feeling helpful? Feeling lucky?
Talk about it!
Once your child is here at school in the morning, they should not leave campus to meet a friend, go to Starbucks, etc. Talk about the options you can support if this is an interest of your child.
