Story Telling Project

Starting with Barkalow
Before I moved here, I didn't have much of an idea of what I wanted to do in the future. I always thought that the future was so far away and I had nothing but time. But now I see it's good to at least have a plan. So far at this school I have joined chorus and I participated in the play and I know that I want a career in music. I want to be a music teacher.
On to FTHS
At FTHS...
I will continue to be very involved with music and all music based things. I hope to still be in chorus and I will try out for all school musicals. Once I move, I'll still be involved with music and I'll continue to practice guitar and piano and by the time I graduate, I'll be ready for USF.
After graduation, I will (hopefully) be accepted into USF and attend college there for five years and earn my bachelors degree.
USF
This is the college I will hopefully be attending. I will go here to know and gain everything I need to in order to become a music teacher which is my bachelors degree and I must have some type of student teaching experience.
My Career
I want to be a music teacher. They start at about $32,540 and can go up to $128,330 but that is based on my experience, level of education, and how big the school is.
My house
I will live in a two bedroom apartment in Westley Chapel, Florida and be close to the school I work at.
Strengths and Weaknesses (S.W.O.T)
My strengths are that I'm kind and talented. You don't need to be talented singing wise however it's good to play an instrument and be able to find certain notes.
My weaknesses are that I'm a really big procrastinator which is a very bad thing to be when it comes to being a teacher because if I take to long to grade something, parents and even students could start complaining. I also tend to talk a lot which isn't good because if I talk for too long, nothing will ever be taught.
Opportunities and Threats (S.W.O.T)
I have an opportunity to change. I can work on my procrastination and find ways to not be such a big procrastinator. I also have a chance to focus and learn more about music as I take more classes and become more involved with it.
A threat I face is that on mistake can change everything. And if everything changes then I won't be able to become a teacher and everything can be ruined. My actions reflect on me. I just have to make sure I do the right thing.
Conclusion
Throughout this class I learned exactly what I want to be when I'm older. I've learned what it takes and what skills I must obtain to be a music teacher. I also learned how to spend money wisely, how to write up a resume, and what to do and what not to do during an interview. I now know some things to expect in the future.
