New Information on Upcoming Event

Grandparents Day

Grandparents' Day is going to be Friday, September 11, 2015. We are going to welcome grandparents into your rooms from 9:00-9:30. This is not to stress you out :) During this time we are leaving it up to individual classes/grade-levels to decide what they would like to do. Some suggestions would be a craft they could make together, coloring a picture together, reading a book, interviewing the grandparents, and/or small refreshments. It is totally up to you. If you need some help don't hesitate to ask.

We will also have photo booth in the front hallway for grandparents to take pictures with their grandchildren. Let's make Carson's first Grandparents' Day a success!

Jeans Pass

Jeans Day 9/8/2015 - If you tweet out 2 times between now and 9/8 the awesome things that are happening in your class or a class you are in (paraprofessionals) you may wear jeans.

Jeans Day 9/16/2015 - In the library is a blank wall that says 'Teacher Favorite Books' Please create something to go on the wall for your favorite book. The book doesn't have to be limited to a children's book. You can make a QR code, picture, book jacket, explanation, etc. The most creative and unique representation will win a $5 Sonic Card. Turn in to Maria when you have yours done.

Last year many of you participated and made very unique projects to accompany the book. Dot Day, Make Your Mark could tie in with the "You Matter" theme.
