How the space race paralleled the Cold War
The Space Race was the competition between the USSR and the United States to see who could set foot on the moon first. This was one of the many controversies between the two countries. Many argue that the video was filmed in a hollywood studio, and that the US never went to the moon. This series of competitions, events, and controversies were a large part of the tension between the US and Soviet Union.
