The Hunger Games- Catching Fire

By: Jules, Maggie, and Jordyn

The POV is first person.

It is first person because it is told from Katniss's point of view. It uses the pronouns I, me, we.

The 2nd book began with all of the victors having to get sent back into the 75th Annual Hunger Games. Only 1 person could win but in the end some of the victors are captured by the Capital and more than one victor survives. The people of District 12, including Katniss and Peeta, end up in District 13 due to the Capital bombing their own district. In the end, Katniss would give her life to be able to capture all of the victors from the Capital.

Story Critique

I thought that this book was very adventurous. It never lost my attention. If I had to choose this would be my favorite out of the whole series. I was very upset when Peeta got captured by the Capital but it just made me want to keep reading. It is full of detail and emotion almost like I am actually part of the book.
