A Word from Your Friendly Neighborhood Principal. . .
Parents,
We hosted three special events this week here at RHES! On Tuesday evening we held our March PTO meeting in the library. We spent time discussing our upcoming events and learning about the many different ways the PTO supports the students and staff of RHES! On Wednesday our 1st grade team and Mrs. Denney hosted a showcase event to highlight our students' work and musical talents! The showcase allowed students to share how they used the 5Cs in the various projects and activities that they worked on over the last few months!
Wednesday night Mrs. Fink and the 2nd grade team hosted our annual family art night. We had an incredible turn out and some stellar artwork was created as were many wonderful memories.
Finally, I would like to congratulate Ben Verhey for his performance last night as he competed against the top 24 spellers in Loudoun County representing grades 5-8. He finished the competition tied for 5th place! OUTSTANDING!
Sincerely,
Andrew Davis - Principal

LCPS Family Survey - We Want Your Feedback
We need to hear from you!
The LCPS Annual Family Survey will be emailed to you on March 13. The LCPS Annual Staff, Student and Family Survey is the most extensive and influential feedback survey conducted by Loudoun County Public Schools each year. We use the results to assess the learning climate in our building and make plans for the following year. We want to hear from everyone so that we can make the best decisions for ALL our students!
The parent/family survey will only take a few minutes of your time. You will receive an email from Dr. Daniel Smith that will include a link to take the survey. You will be asked to fill out a survey for each school in which you have a child enrolled (elementary, middle, high or program). For more information go to https://www.lcps.org/2023survey If you do not receive a survey email by March 15, contact research@lcps.org.
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us!
